We strive for excellence and have been recognized as a “Top Dentist” in Hartford Magazine for the last several years running. We hope you will come in and experience the difference at our office!

Dr. Monique Nadeau was born and raised in Upstate New York. She completed her undergraduate studies at Siena College, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD degree) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1998. In 1999, Dr. Nadeau opted to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. Such residencies are designed to refine and enhance clinical skills.
Professional organizations of which Dr. Nadeau is a member in good standing include the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society. She is also a representative in Connecticut for the American Board of Family Dentistry, which is a nonprofit organization for promoting family oriented dentistry.

In her personal life, Dr. Nadeau and her dog, Siena, are a social therapy team certified by East Coast Assistant Dogs. They volunteer at Bristol Hospital together, where they are involved in the dog visitation program that renders pet therapy to patients. In her spare time, Dr. Nadeau enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, skiing, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Nadeau participates in an online dental community called DentalTown that also publishes a magazine. Each year, DentalTown holds the "Townie Choice Awards" in which members vote for their favorite dental products and services in various areas. Voters are automatically entered in a drawing to win $1,000 and Dr. Nadeau was 2009's winner! In addition to getting the prize money, she was honored by being pictured on DentalTown's December issue. With the prize money, Dr. Nadeau chose to take her staff and their families to a local Christmas show.

Dr. Eric Krause is a native of Canada and grew up in Central British Columbia. After high school, Dr. Krause went to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia where he completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry in 1995 and then earned his DMD degree in 1999.
Following graduation, Dr. Krause worked as a dental associate before purchasing his own practice in a town just outside of Vancouver. In 2005, he sold his practice in Canada and moved to Connecticut. Dr. Krause is happy to be a part of Farmington Village Dental Associates and looks forward to taking great care of you and your family. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Krause is involved in several dental research projects that are being published.
Having been an athlete all his life, Dr. Krause likes to spend his spare time playing golf, basketball, or volleyball. He also enjoys spending time with family, reading, and traveling.

Andrea was born and raised in Connecticut. She has been with Farmington Village Dental since 2002 and she helps both our patients and doctors. She works with patients on scheduling convenient appointment times and making needed financial arrangements, and she also assists Drs. Nadeau and Krause during dental procedures. Andrea does a lot to help our office run smoothly! She is married and has two sons. In her free time, Andrea loves running, soccer, and she enjoys art projects.

Stephanie was born and raised in New Hampshire. She has been with Farmington Village Dental since 2008 and, like Andrea, she works with patients on scheduling and financial arrangements and also assists our doctors during procedures. Stephanie has a daughter and enjoys spending time with family and friends. When she gets the chance she also enjoys snowboarding. An interesting fact about Stephanie is that she used to work on a cruise ship!
You can be confident in us as your qualified dental healthcare professionals. We are fully trained and certified to provide you with the dental expertise you are looking for. To fulfill our responsibility to Continuing Education, we annually attend dental conventions, seminars, and clinical courses to keep informed about new products, equipment, and advancements in dental treatment techniques.
Knowledge is power. We want to empower you to make informed decisions for your oral health and smile enhancements. After thoroughly examining your dental needs and smile possibilities, we will consult with you to explain your diagnosis and treatment options. To aid us in this process, we have an intraoral dental camera that enables you to see what we see in your mouth. Additionally, we take the necessary time to inform ourselves about your medical history, current medications, and other factors that might affect your dental health and treatment.
Early dental care ensures healthier teeth and better smile growth for your child, and it can also lower the cost of dental treatment needed in later years. More than 1 in 4 children in the U.S. have cavities by age 4, and some as early as age 2. Our doctors want to reduce your child’s risk of developing cavities. Another very important part of childhood dental visits is learning! We make it easy and fun for your child to learn about good oral health habits. We are here to provide positive dental experiences for your child (and you) right from the first visit!
