Deep Bleaching™

Deep Bleaching™ is widely recognized as the most effective teeth whitening system available today. It provides a solution to unpredictable whitening results and acute tooth-sensitivity, both of which are common with other bleaching systems. Additionally, Deep Bleaching has been shown to whiten tetracycline-stained teeth in a short time. Tetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic prescribed for use against many bacterial infections and even to treat acne. One of its side effects is that it can cause permanent stains to teeth. Since tetracycline stains are often dark and deep in teeth, they don’t respond very well to most whitening techniques so porcelain veneers are many dentists’ corrective treatment of choice. Deep Bleaching offers another solution before our doctors recommend more extensive smile makeover procedures.

The Deep Bleaching process involves two in-office bleaching sessions as well as at-home whitening with custom bleaching trays that are worn while you sleep for several consecutive nights between the two in-office visits. The bleaching trays fit closely and compress against your teeth at the gumline, creating a seal that keeps the special bleaching gel in the tray and prevents you from swallowing it. While you sleep wearing the trays, the bleaching goes deeper and deeper through the layers of stain (hence “deep” bleaching), which allows the final in-office bleaching session to reach levels of white you never thought possible!

BrightSmile® One-Hour Professional Teeth Whitening

BrightSmile® is a clinically proven, safe and gentle way to get teeth whiter in one hour with results that can last years. BrightSmile whitening gel is applied to your teeth and then activated by BriteSmile’s patented blue light for three 20-minute sessions while you relax, listen to music, or even sleep. Our busy patients really appreciate this one-time, one-hour treatment.

Take-Home Tray Whitening

Take-home whitening trays are custom made to fit your mouth and enable you to whiten your teeth in the convenience of your own home. The custom trays are used to apply a gel made from a lower concentration of hydrogen peroxide, allowing it to remain safely on your teeth longer (sometimes overnight). Take-home whitening can achieve the same stain-free look as BrightSmile whitening, it just takes a little longer.

Professional Crest Whitestrips®

For patients with only slightly stained teeth, we offer Professional Crest Whitestrips®. This product is formulated to be safe and effective, and the professional strips contain 6.5% hydrogen peroxide vs. the 5.3% contained in the strips found in stores. The box also has an extra week of strips compared to the Crest Whitestrips sold in stores. The strips are flexible, virtually invisible, and only need to be worn for 30 minutes twice a day.
