On September 25, 2015 Farmington Village Dental held a free dental care event titled Dentistry From The Heart. On this day we offered patients over the age of 18 the opportunity to have one of three services: a cleaning, a filling, or a tooth extraction. We guaranteed that the first 40 people would be seen.

We assembled a team of six hygienists, five assistants and two doctors. We also had many volunteers helping with registration, transportation, and patient flow. Each of our volunteers worked all day out the kindness of their hearts, getting paid only via hugs, thank you’s and tons of food!
A few local establishments generously donated food and drink so that all of our volunteers would want for nothing during the day. We’d like the acknowledge the donations from Colgate, Vero Pizza, Panera of Plainville, Subway of Farmington, Starbuck’s of Farmington and Highland Park Market.
Registration began bright and early at 7:30 am and we were ready! We had a nice steady flow of patients throughout the day, and everyone we treated was extremely thankful for the care they received. All in all, it was a great day! We are so thankful for everyone who helped make it possible.
