Sure, we all love Halloween candy, but too much of a good thing can be, well … too much. When you get overwhelmed with all those sweets, the question then becomes: what are you going to do with all that candy? We say: pick out some of your family’s favorite pieces and bring the rest to us at Farmington Village Dental for our Halloween Candy Give Back!
As members of the Farmington, CT community for over two decades, we are proud to be Farmington dentists and we always try to give back to this wonderful area in whatever way we can. Our Halloween Candy Give Back is just one example of our commitment to this community, and it’s our way of giving back to our veterans and soldiers.
On November 1st , 4th and 5th during regular office hours, we’ll be accepting Halloween candy that you don’t want your kids (or yourself) to eat. When we’ve collected all the candy, we’ll send it directly to the Newington VA Hospital, and they take care of the rest.
With the help of our generous patients and local school children, we have collected more than 2,000 pounds of candy since 2013! Last year, we collected 308 lbs, and this year our goal is to collect at least 350 pounds! We all love a little sweetness now and again – and we can bring that smile to a deployed soldier or veteran … with just a little candy.
